Rock Steady Boxing Program for People with Parkinson's Disease

Rock Steady Boxing is a non-contact boxing inspired program designed specifically for people with Parkinson's disease. Our program utilizes a variety of exercises, including:

  • Punching techniques (on bags and mits, not people!)

  • Strength training

  • Stretching

  • Balance exercises

  • Agility and reaction drills

  • Voice activation

  • Cognitive and Memory Challenges

  • Functional Training including walking, transfers, floor mobility and more!

This class is perfect for all levels, from those newly diagnosed to those living with Parkinson's for many years. Our instructors, Dr. Amanda Trieloff and Dr. Emily Warren from Promise Physical Therapy and Wellness, will modify exercises to ensure everyone can participate safely and effectively.
